CMAC has provided passenger transport for the Business Travel Show’s Hosted Buyer Programme for the past two years and is committed to the 2017 programme.
The Business Travel Show, held annually in London for more than 20 years, is Europe’s largest specialised exhibition and conference for this industry bringing together 7,424 European travel professionals. This long established and reputable event provides corporate travel buyers and managers with the suppliers, knowledge and contacts to help create and develop successful travel programmes.
Each year the Business Travel Show 2016 takes place at Olympia, London. The Show offers a transfer service to visitors on the Hosted Buyer Programme, which runs for three days to deliver European corporate travel buyers with unrivalled sourcing, learning and networking opportunities.
The Business Travel Show contracts CMAC to:
- Transfer circa 200 hosted buyers to an evening event on the night before the Show.
- Transfer up to 300 hosted buyers to Olympia each morning and returning them to their accommodation each evening.
- Coordinate transport from Olympia to Heathrow on the final day of the Show to enable the hosted buyers to catch flights home
Working in central London has all the obvious challenges of weight of traffic etc. so the CMAC team and the operators have to be on point to ensure that they deliver.
For CMAC managing the supply of the necessary vehicles provides an opportunity to demonstrate the quality of its, and its operators, services to some of Europe’s top travel professionals. But the team is also conscious that their performance reflects on our client, and that it is crucial to maintain the Business Travel Show’s reputation with this important group of visitors.
Each year the CMAC team takes time planning the operation in advance of the show. Over the three days of the Hosted Buyer Programme (an exclusive hosted buyers only pre show day and two days of the show) CMAC provides approximately 16 vehicles to fulfil the contract. A member of the CMAC team is available on site throughout the show to make sure that everything runs to plan.
